Lightweight Aggregate
Lightweight Aggregate, made from fly ash, heated to 1100 degrees to form hard pellets. Use for insulating fill under ground floor slabs (8/14mm), as a concreting aggregate (4/14mm) and used for floor and roof screeding (4/8mm). Up to 50% lighter than natural aggregate and reduces ground bearing loads on retaining structures by up to 65% in comparison to primary aggregate.
